Wire Window Guards
We can supply and fit wire guards for protecting stained glass and leaded windows, these guards are made to measure for each opening from stainless steel mesh which is either welded or woven depending on your requirements and finished in a black polyester powder coated finish.
Historically protective window guards for church windows were made from copper or galvanised steel which eventually corrode and cause unsightly rust staining to the surrounding masonry. This can be avoided by replacing galvanised guards with a bespoke stainless steel equivalent, finished in a black powder-coat finish. Stainless steel guards will last much longer due to the chromium content than a galvanised equivalent and visually are less obtrusive externally and will not corrode compared with a galvanised guard.
