Recently a new memorial stained glass window has been installed at St John's Church, Haydon Wick in Swindon. The window was made during the lockdown period during March and April, although it was not until August 3rd that the window was finally fitted. The window is themed upon Psalm 121: “I WILL LIFT UP MINE EYES UNTO THE HILLS” depicts hills with a foreground of a Hibiscus, a symbol of joy and happiness, and seeing beauty in the simplest of joys. The colours of the design embrace the tones of the english countryside with vibrant greens, umbers and browns of the hills and heathers.
The window is dedicated in lasting memory of Mr Dean a very much missed member of the Haydon Wick parish, Swindon.
